A truly outstanding team must have diversified expertise with precision craftsmanship, competitive strategy, and non-negotiable character. There is no point that we do not think about or believe in possibility.

Crew Chief

Kurt and Gracin

Crew Chief

With more than 30 years of mechanical experience and 12 years leading and advising race car programs to success, Kurt brings strategic advantage to Team GDR.  His ability to understand the intricacies of how a car responds has enabled him to support Gracin and his brother Kole to achieve more than 13 series championships in quarter midgets, and Gracin to secure a top five average finish in his first year of late model racing.  Outside of racing, Kurt owns The Master Wrench, Inc., a successful automotive repair shop in Portland, Oregon, and he is the creator of the Glove Light, a product now sold by Mechanix Wear.

Chris and Gracin

Tire Specialist

Chris has been around racing his entire life and brings incredible dedication and support to Team GDR. Chris is one of the key “can get anything done” team members and has a natural ability to look around and know what needs to be done next. Chris also brings knowledge as a crew chief where he led his own son Blake to several quarter midget championships, and has one of the most giving and encouraging hearts Team GDR knows. Chris keeps the belief in possibility alive through his positive energy; Team GDR is incredibly blessed to have his, and his wife Patti’s support.

Jr. Crew Chief

As Jr Crew Chief, Gracin’s brother Kole manages the sales of Team GDR merchandise and provides hands on support when the 27 car is between events.  Born the same month Gracin began racing, Kole has followed in his brother’s racing footsteps racing quarter midgets where he landed several national titles and regional championships. Kole is currently racing Legends for Dustin Ash Motorsports.
